Roots of breakdancing

Just saw this video on youtube.
It's hilarious especially with the background music of Run DMC - It's like that.
Now I know where the battles come from.

check it out!

It's been a while since i've updated xanga.
A few things have happened since that last time.
I've graduated from my degree officially now that my results have come out.
I'm about to start my 1 year traineeship postion at the Austin Hospital tomorrow.

This period of transition feels like it's been really rushed. It was 3 weeks ago that I was stressing over exams and various other trivial matters and now I'm about to walk into a hospital and potentially take care of patients, I'm not sure if I'm ready for such a big responsibility yet. I've heard many people say that not many people are 'ready' for changes, it just comes and it's up to the individual to adapt to the changes. It's true in a way, if you gave me 2 more months, at the end of it I'd probably still say I'm not ready.

Everything is up in the air with regards to next year. With work, what's my responsibilities, what is expected of me, what do I need to know, what do i need to do? With church... what's my place in church now that I'm where I am... I'm just going to try and cope with it one day at a time until I'm used to the change and then go from there, hopefully it'll work this time. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

It's quite an exciting time of change as well for many of my friends, some have also graduated and have positions next year awaiting them. I hope with our lives getting more and more busy, we'll still be able to find time to catch up from time to time.

Blessed Savior, make me humble,
Take away my sinful pride;
In myself I’m sure to stumble,
Help me stay close by Your side.

Ever gone through a period of time when everything that can possibly go wrong somehow just blows up in your face?
Well, I'm kinda having one of those moments. In the process of about 4 days, I've ended up in a sort of rut and I'm not sure if it's cos of the attitude I'm in which brings more trouble... or the other way round.... or is it a case of which came first the chick or the egg? who knows.

But it's funny how people quote Murphy's law.. that whatever can go wrong, will invariably go wrong... you just hope it doesn't all go wrong at the same time resulting in a bit of depression and taking some serious body blows to the esteem.

Ah well, no use sooking all over town about it, gotta roll with the punches like they say. Like Murphy's law says, if there's a chance that it's gonna happen, then it's gonna happen. Who knows, this time next week, with a little bit of work, things would be looking a lot more positive. Gonna have hope!
